HYDROPHOBIC SURFACES BY NBD NANOTECHNOLOGIES Massachusetts materials company NBD Nano’s initials actually stand for Namib Beetle Design, referencing how Namibia’s Stenocara beetle has water-repellant surfaces which attract condensation to drink.
